Creart Italia Design realizza manufatti fotocatalitici come pannellature da rivestimento per facciate continue e arredi urbani.I manufatti fotocatalitici si avvalgono del meccanismo fotocatalitico una reazione fotochimica generata dalle proprietà fotoattive del biossido di titanio. Il meccanismo è semplice: l’agente scatenante, in questo caso la luce (solare o artificiale), viene assorbito dal biossido di titanio che a sua volta attiva le molecole di ossigeno presenti nell’aria. L’ossigeno attivato agisce sui contaminanti, scomponendoli e trasformandoli in nitrati e carbonati. Come tutti i materiali in grado di attivare un processo di ossidazione, anche il cemento fotocatalitico è quindi antinquinante e antibatterico.Neutralizza gli agenti inquinanti che altrimenti procurerebbero una decolorazione della superficie,è anche in grado di depurare l’aria, assorbendo ed eliminando spontaneamente smog, vernici, spray e altri contaminanti organici e inorganici.

The photocatalytic artifacts make use of photocatalytic mechanism of a photochemical reaction generated by the photoactive properties of the titanium dioxide. The mechanism is simple: the causative agent, in this case the light (solar or artificial), is absorbed by the titanium dioxide which in turn activates the oxygen molecules present in the air. The activated oxygen acts on contaminants, breaking them down and turning them into nitrates and carbonates. Like all materials that can trigger an oxidation process, also the photocatalytic cement is therefore anti-pollution and anti-bacterial. Neutralizes contaminants that otherwise would obtain a discoloration of the surface, it is also able to purify the air by absorbing and eliminating spontaneously smog, paint, spray and other organic and inorganic contaminants.
